Many Beautiful Ways An Olive Oil Can Do To Your Skin And Hair!

November 7, 2012 4:08 am / 19 Comments / ems

It’s not only good for cooking and our health. It is also the most versatile oil this world can ever have. I’ve been hooked by this oil for a while now and I find so useful.

Here are some beautiful ways to use olive oil for skin and hair:

Grow eyelashes. Just use a cotton bud, dip in the olive oil and gently wet your lashes. Just be careful not to put too much. You lashes might get too greasy.

Removes makeup. Put a little olive oil into your palm, massage it on your face. Then get a face towel, wet it in warm water and wipe. The warm water will open up the pores. This will make the oil do its job even more powerful because it will unclog your pores and take any impurities out of your skin.

Use for facial cleansing. It can substitute your daily facial cleanser by just simply put on a cotton ball and use it as regular cleanser. It is more effective and cost much cheaper.

Treat itchy, dry scalp. Massage it into your scalp and leave 25 minutes then shampoo your hair. This will moisturize your scalp and diminish flakes.

Use as a leave-on hair conditioner. After shampoo, you can also put a little amount of oil into your hair. It will make your hair more manageable and soft.

Grow eyebrow hair. It will help you grow your eyebrow hair by simply moisturize it everyday with olive oil.

Use for dry nails and cuticle conditioning. Warm olive oil and dip your fingers for 5 minutes.

Grow long hair. Massage it from root to tip of your hair once a week and you will notice  that your hair grows faster.

Treat dry skin and eczema. Mix it with your skin moisturizer and use it every day. You will  instantly see and feel how your skin can turn from rough to super smooth.

I use extra virgin olive oil.  It’s odorless that’s why it doesn’t have that  irritating smell. So, thumbs up for this super Olive oil!

Thanks for sharing this. I also use olive oil mixed with brown sugar as a homemade body scrub. I drop lavender oil too for added smoothening/calming effect.

So many uses pala ang Olive oil. Just a question.. Grow long hair (kung may buhok), eh kung thinning hairline, may epekto ba?

Naku! Tama lahat ng nakasulat dito. Ems. I wouldn’t have known about the uses of olive oil had Morning Dew’s great God Daddy Windy told his god children (Morning Dew’s parents) to apply olive oil on his hair for it to grow fast and thick. KAsi kalbong- kalbo talaga sya before he turned 1. Ngayon medyo may buhok na konti pero medyo manipis pa. I kept telling his Mom to continue applying olive oil coz my adorable nephew will surely benefit from it.

Windy is right, Lainy. I’m sure pretty soon Morning Dew’s hair will grow thicker. Just continue using the olive oil.
